2022 International Symposium on the Biology of Actinomycetes (ISBA)

Thy presented her research during the poster session at the International Symposium on the Biology of Actinomycetes (ISBA) hosted in Toronto, Canada this year! After the conference she shares:

“I felt really inspired after leaving the conference! I got to meet scientists from all over the world who are working on Actinomycetes. It was very cool to see all all of the research regarding ecology, metabolism and even phages. The antibiotic discovery research was most intriguing to me and I got to see the type of novel molecules, how they were found and where they were found from leading scientists in the field. I also learned a lot about the mechanisms of cell division and morphogenesis.”
